RODOLPHE MAHEUX MEMORIAL AWARD

In honour of the memory of Rodolphe Maheux, co-founder of the World Endometriosis Society and its most recent president, the board of the WES has instigated an award to be presented at each future World Congress of Endometriosis (WCE):

THE RUDOLPHE MAHEUX AWARD

The award, which carries a cash prize of €1,000, will be for the best clinical presentation or poster by a promising clinician – under the age of 40 at the time of the world congress.

The winner will be announced at the closing ceremony of each WCE by the chairman of the WES RM Committee and the award will be presented by the WES president.

A press release highlighting the winner will be issued by the WES at the WCE, and the winning lecture/poster will be featured in the first coming WES e-Journal after each WCE.

The deadline for abstract submission to the 10th World Congress on Endometriosis was 30 September 2007, and the WES is looking forward to presenting the award at the World Congress in Melbourne, 11 - 14 March 2008.

This award will be presented again in 2011 at the 11th World Congress on Endometriosis.
