The State of Victoria is undergoing a period of exciting change. The city skyline bears testament to the infrastructure developments taking place that are transforming Melbourne into one of the most exciting cities of the 21st century.

The city boasts state of the art convention facilities, quality accommodation and an excellent transportation system. Melbourne's vibrant and cosmopolitan lifestyle provides the perfect setting for your next big event.

Within close proximity to Melbourne lies a diverse range of great Australian experiences for business visitors to enjoy - wineries, temperate rainforests, rugged coastlines, surf beaches, snowfields, deserts, wildlife reserves and historic goldmining towns.

MELBOURNE – The world’s most liveable city

Melbourne is Australia’s second largest city with a population of over 3.5 million. It is a genuinely international city with a vibrant arts scene, a multi-cultural population, cosmopolitan cafes, restaurants and pubs, and world famous sporting events.

Melbourne is renowned for its culture, fine dining, restaurants, gardens, and festivals, and was recently voted ‘the world’s most liveable city’ by The Economist.

The city itself is located amidst parklands along the banks of the Yarra River, just a few kilometres from Port Phillip Bay.  With the sea to the south and mountains to the north, and the fine wineries of the Yarra Valley to the west, Melbourne offers something for everyone.
