The Melbourne
Exhibition and Convention Centre (MECC) is a world-class facility,
conveniently located along the picturesque Yarra River, close to
the central business district, and just 20 minutes from Melbourne
International Airport.
All three congress hotels are within easy walking distance of the
MECC.
Encompassing a state-of-the-art convention centre with Australia's
largest exhibition space, the MECC is a multi-dimensional complex
offering a range of facilities and services.
The Convention Centre has consistently been named 'Australia's Best
Convention Centre' by the Meetings Industry Association of Australia,
and in 2000 the prestigious International Association of Convention
Centres (AIPC) named the Centre the first 'World's Best Congress
Centre'.
